Project Manager

Requirements
• Identifies and resolves issues before they impact the customer.
• Communicates areas of importance and concern via management systems.  Clearly outlines the response process.
• Recognizes risks and quickly establishes countermeasures.
• Holds self and others accountable to standardized work expectations.
• Highlights variations from defined standards, and immediately responds to correct variances.
• Utilizes appropriate tools and methods for developing individuals and teams.
• Identifies and shares process improvements beyond their own scope of responsibility (ex. Location, function, etc)
• In the absence of a standardized processes, uses available data to make quick decisions and incorporate results into standards.
• Welcomes feedback and makes changes to improve performance
• Communicates when standardized processes cannot be met and shares best practices.
• Utilizes multiple motivational styles to communicate and encourage employees
• Utilizes rapid problem solving processes and tools to mitigate all problems.


Education:   Diploma in Engineering discipline. Specialisation in Electrical/electronic or mechanical. PMP certification preferred

Experience:  (Describe years and types of experience (or knowledge) a person would normally have to enter this position.)
Minimum 5 years working experience and 3 years of manufacturing transfer and developmental environment with multiple projects

The Project Manager should be able to create and use Gantt charts, spreadsheets or other appropriate tools to manage people and tasks and keep up-to-date, with good verbal skills in English. Negotiation and well developed interpersonal skills.
