Manufacturing Manager

KEY SERVICES:
Position Function
• Incumbent manages and directs the DPES assigned Manufacturing Department In this function, he/she is primarily responsible for supervising assigned project all Value stream manufacturing activity.  Incumbent also manages the DPES Work Standards.  He/she must assure product quality, improve production efficiency, reduce cost and assure health & safety and customer satisfaction to support the Line’s plans and activities undertaken to achieve our DPES mission and goals.
• Manage Value Stream Manufacturing and insure timely fulfillment of customer’s requirement and product quality.
• Develop, review and update policies and work standards that support the attainment of the DPES Mission and Goals.
• Actively participate in the management of policies, work standards, operations, budgeting, management/employee relationships, quality and health and safety.
• Actively develop and promote the DPES Action Plan for Excellence Assurance.
• Insure the business-manufacturing department effectively serves the needs of all customers.
• Cross function with other internal departments and external sources, to resolve both issues and conflicts that form barriers to the attainment of manufacturing related issues and our DPES Mission and Goals.
• Hire, terminate, discipline, evaluate performance and authorize overtime for subordinate.
• Provide training and cross training for staffs and develop subordinates.
• Assure adherence to all DPES Work Standards.
• Develop Manufacturing Employees’ capabilities esp. in people management and performance management
• Coaching subordinates and make sure organization competencies meet management requirements
• Develop self-capabilities to meet position requirement and PBP
• Environment/Safety/Health Function
• Allow no unsafe act to continue at our DPES operation and develop & reaffirm health/safety/environment policies.
• As a member of the DPES Management Team, always set the highest level of expectation on any health, environment or safety related issue.
• Enhance waste reduction in manufacturing activities
• Control and follow up the Company policies in chemical materials usage at manufacturing site to make sure EHS working standard implemented as required.

QUALIFICATION:
• University level degree in Science or Management and 3 to 5 years of manufacturing manager related work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
• Good writing skills to provide written DPES Work Standards and instructions.
• Good analytical skills to insure timely collection and analysis of manufacturing data.
• Managerial, supervisory and team building skills to direct and lead staff.
• Good training skills to conduct training programs.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain a budget.
• Computer, network and software skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Manager.
• Ideal candidate would possess Chinese and English language skills
