| Reports to (Title):Plant Manager
Purpose:
The ME Manager will lead a team of top manufacturing engineering talent responsible for the introduction and sustaining technical support of equipment, process and product, including process qualification, manufacturing and testing, assembly instructions, technical evaluation of suppliers, bills of material, packaging and compliance requirements.
Education:
A degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or similar field is required; graduate degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with at least 5 years managing a team.
Experience with high volume manufacturing or new product introduction. Direct experience in launching products required.
working knowledge of ISO9001 /ISO14001 Systems and TS16949
Familiarity with injection molding, understanding of electrical and mechanical control for automated manufacturing equipment, linear and rotational mechanisms, pneumatics and industry compliant safety devices is desired. Understanding of tooling, jigs and fixtures design.
Experienced in using of process control tools such as FMEA, Control Chart, Cpk Analysis. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several abstract and concrete variables.
Fluent in MS office and CAD, proficient oral and written English and Chinese communication skills
