Purpose:
Facility manager takes overall responsibility of the organisation's buildings, infrastructure and services. Through appropriate strategic advice, procurement, diligence and monitoring, facilities manager secures maximum value for Honeywell and also essential in creating safe and efficient working environment.To be the primary interface with the residential and working communities within the area, understanding and responding to their needs so far as is practical, legal and affordable, through the effective and efficient co-ordination of all the facilities and services within the zone in order to provide an exceptional service.
Education:
University degree of electrical or mechanical or equivalent
Experience:
(Describe years and types of experience (or knowledge) a person would normally have to enter this position.)
Minimum 5 years working experience and 3 years of Facility management position and hands-on maintenance skill. knowledge of all building systems, building construction, site utilities and site construction. Knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures, fire sprinkler control systems, water shut off valves, HVAC & lighting controls, security alarm system and basic electrical controls. Knowledge of event scheduling procedures. Knowledge of basic computer skills (i.e. Word & Excel), and ability to learn other software (i.e. AutoCAD). Knowledge of legal codes and standards (OSHA, etc.)
