职位描述/要求：
Description

Lead global design team of engineers that develop concepts and designs, specifies, prototype and test new sensor products and modify existing products.

Work with customers to define requirements and engineering specifications.

Team with Marketing, Sales, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Validation Engineering, and suppliers during the entire development cycle to deliver a quality and cost effective new product.

Guides team in investigating and developing engineering solutions and generating drawings, parts lists, engineering change orders, etc. to document the designs in accordance with the New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) process.

This is a leadership position responsible for coordination and implementation of design and packaging of sensors, circuits and assemblies.

This person will be expected to carry out design activity as a member of the team. Responsibilities include mentoring, managing a budget, managing team projects and programs, customer interfacing, resource management and forecasting.   

This position reports directly to a Global Design Center Leader.

Qualifications

Minimum BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5 to 10 years experience.

Proven project management and leadership skills

A good working knowledge of materials, appropriate technologies and associated production processes (molding, stamping, die casting, etc.). Good understanding of plastics and molding technology.

Excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation, leadership, and team orientation a must.

Effective communications and presentation skills

Excellent English language skills, both oral and written required.

Demonstrated proficiency with Pro Engineer.

Experience in sensor package design desired

Understand UL, CE and China approvals requirements for packaging and labeling a plus.

Ability to travel required
